Rob’s specialties include energy, industrial, consumer and retail and is well known for identifying key, high-caliber performers across a myriad of functions specializing in the C-suite.
Rob began his career in outside sales and business development before his introduction to search. It is now his passion as he enjoys “the hunt”, finding the ideal candidate for the specific organization’s culture and performance expectations. He began his search career focused on senior-level industrial sales and business development professionals, and later expanded to include all subsectors of energy: trading, up, mid, downstream, manufacturing and oilfield services. Rob has also placed senior executives in numerous areas involving risk, credit, finance, accounting, operations, and business development.
In recent years, Rob has helped build teams in upstream exploration and production and midstream oil and gas with a specialization in petroleum engineering, geology, and petrophysics as well as land management. He has also gained significant exposure to disciplines across the board in both wholesale and retail power markets, commercial and pipeline construction markets working meticulously with Engineers, Project Managers, and Estimators and additionally the chemical industry, in the polymer, plastic and resin realm. He has been privileged to work with such notable organizations as Halliburton (a chosen member of HalStaff Vendor Advisory Board), HESS, Conoco, EQT, Direct Energy, BASF, Afton, SPG Source Power & Gas, Southwestern Energy, Continental Resources, Calpine, Modec, Pentair, Sandridge Energy, Dresser-Rand, Center for Offshore Safety (COS), among many others.
