Rick has eight years of search experience and has conducted C-Suite level searches across a broad range of sectors including Technology, Energy, Retail, Hospitality, Multi-Family, Logistics, Accounting, and Financial Services.
Prior to joining Allen Austin, Rick has 20 plus years in Human Resources and served as the top HR leader for Star Furniture, a Berkshire Hathaway company. He also held similar positions at Dynegy and Alliance Residential Management.
Rick has led strategic change management initiatives to ensure efficiencies and client satisfaction. He has extensive experience in operations, communications, business development, customer service, systems implementation, organizational design, training, succession planning, and multi-unit management.
Prior to launching his Human Resources career, Rick held senior management and multi-unit operations roles in executive search, restaurant, and retail stores. Rick’s experience and diverse background allow him a strong understanding of the challenges his clients experience and partners with them in fulfilling the roles they need to move their organizations forward.
Rick enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and is an avid golfer.
Rick is a graduate of Our Lady of the Lake University, San Antonio, having received his Bachelor of Arts and holds his Professional Human Resource Certification and is a member of SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management).
