Based in Houston, Mike Lejeune is a Principal Consultant of Allen Austin. He works with clients in the industrial, technology, finance, and accounting sectors. Mike has a keen passion for developing tomorrow’s leaders, and develops and facilitates workshops, courses and retreats that focus on leadership effectiveness, culture shaping and communications.
Mike has delivered workshops and consulted with clients in the US, Canada and South Africa. He focuses on the root causes of employee disengagement, offering techniques and strategies for leaders to use to enroll, engage and mobilize employees, and build high performing organizations.
Prior to his consulting career, Mike had over 25 years of experience as a leader in the executive search industry. He served as President of Steverson & Company, a top, Texas based search firm specializing in accounting, finance, corporate administration, and information technology. He has worked with a wide range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, Big 4 accounting firms, and rapidly emerging privately held companies.
Mike is author of the highly regarded blog, Simple Leadership. In November 2017, Mike will host the podcast series Simple Leadership, where he discusses leadership principles with nationally renowned experts. He is also an experienced keynote speaker, and has served as President of the National Speakers Association. Mike and his daughter, Nikki, also co-authored the award-winning book, A Father’s Love – The Generational Bridge That Changes Hearts Forever.
Mike is on the Executive Board of Outback Texas Ministries, and holds the national certification of Certified Employee Retention Specialist (CERS). He and his wife Tommie reside in Houston, Texas.
