Dale has a deep understanding of trends and critical success drivers in these sectors based on his experience in multiple public, private, B2B, B2C, domestic and international companies. Having had full Profit & Loss responsibility for businesses with revenues of $2.4 billion and $1.8 billion, $1 billion in assets and 4,500 associates, he has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by today’s CEOs and senior executives in delivering results and building enterprise value. He has extensive experience with international operations, turn-arounds, restructurings, repositionings, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Dale also brings 9 years of consulting and senior level advisory experience, strategy, governance, leadership development, performance measurement and results improvement.
Dale served as President of CellStar Corporation, a $2.4 billion global cellular phone distributor, retailer and service provider with operations in North America, Asia-Pacific, Europe and Latin America. As President he strengthened global leadership, and executed a comprehensive restructuring and turn-around plan, resulting in revenue increasing from $2 billion to $2.4 billion, a working capital reduction of $266 million and net profit improvement of $63 million.
Prior to CellStar, Dale served as Executive Vice President, Operations for ENTEX Information Services, a $2.5 billion PC Systems Integrator; Senior Vice President, Operations for THORN Americas, a $1 billion rental retail company; and Vice President of Distribution, Food Processing and Procurement for a $1.8 billion stand-alone Profit & Loss division of The Southland Corporation (parent of 7-Eleven).
Dale is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, having received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Industrial Management. He graduated with honors in the Top 10% of his class.Download full bio
