Taija Pupillo

Taija Pupillo is a Principal with Gaines International, an Allen Austin company. She has over 12 years of experience as a Leader and Advisor in Career Planning and Placement and she enjoys all facets of candidate development and strategic talent matching.

At Gaines, Taija focuses on executive recruiting and candidate development targeting mid- to senior-level strategic hires within Architecture, Interiors, Engineering, and Construction and Real Estate Development firms. She partners closely with the internal research team as well as the business development team to ensure the successful execution of client initiatives.

Taija has a B.S. in Health Administration from Northern Illinois University and has received her MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management.

Allen Suvorov

Allen Suvorov has over 12 years of executive search experience. Since joining the firm in 2016, he has been instrumental in sourcing candidates for the urgent and highly demanding search assignments in the AEC space and several other sectors.

Among most recent engagements were:

– Technical Architectural Director with a Top-10 global luxury hospitality design firm;

– Continental CEO for a top-10 global engineering firm;– Regional Practice Leader for an international construction forensics consulting firm;

– a number of searches at SPM/Principal level in architecture and engineering within transportation, education, healthcare, mixed-use, multi-family, corporate and other markets.

Prior to joining the firm Allen worked in a leading Moscow based search firm focusing on senior level searches for high-end global business services firms: McKinsey, A.T. Kearney, Accenture, PwC and others.

Allen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources Management from The Moscow University for the Humanities.

Rob Walker

Rob’s specialties include energy, industrial, consumer and retail and is well known for identifying key, high-caliber performers across a myriad of functions specializing in the C-suite.

Rob began his career in outside sales and business development before his introduction to search. It is now his passion as he enjoys “the hunt”, finding the ideal candidate for the specific organization’s culture and performance expectations.  He began his search career focused on senior-level industrial sales and business development professionals, and later expanded to include all subsectors of energy: trading, up, mid, downstream, manufacturing and oilfield services.  Rob has also placed senior executives in numerous areas involving risk, credit, finance, accounting, operations, and business development.

In recent years, Rob has helped build teams in upstream exploration and production and midstream oil and gas with a specialization in petroleum engineering, geology, and petrophysics as well as land management.  He has also gained significant exposure to disciplines across the board in both wholesale and retail power markets, commercial and pipeline construction markets working meticulously with Engineers, Project Managers, and Estimators and additionally the chemical industry, in the polymer, plastic and resin realm.  He has been privileged to work with such notable organizations as Halliburton (a chosen member of HalStaff Vendor Advisory Board), HESS, Conoco, EQT, Direct Energy, BASF, Afton, SPG Source Power & Gas, Southwestern Energy, Continental Resources, Calpine, Modec, Pentair, Sandridge Energy, Dresser-Rand, Center for Offshore Safety (COS), among many others.
