Iain Frater joins Howco as Plant Director for Irvine, effective June 2019, with a remit to manage all operational and commercial aspects of the site. Howco’s plant in Irvine, Scotland is a multidisciplinary site which engineers, assembles, coats and treats metal components and is a major supplier to a global offshore engineering group.
Iain will lead a multi-skilled workforce of >100, align production capacity with demand, optimize supply chains, manage customers & develop sales opportunities. Iain has 26 years’ experience within the offshore engineering sector, having worked at Hunting Energy Services, Balmoral Group, and Belmar Engineering.
