Completed Engagement – Trecora Resources – Site Leader

Allen Austin recently completed a retained search engagement for Trecora Resources with the selection of Rafael (Ralph) Pons as the new Site Leader for it’s South Hampton Resources facility in Silsbee, Texas. Mr. Pons brings over 33 years of extensive manufacturing experience at some of the industry’s top companies, providing effective and decisive leadership in facilities management, construction management, facility support, project/program management, contract administration, operations and maintenance, and facilities planning. He holds a Master of Science, Operations Management, from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science, Chemical Engineering, from the University of Virginia.

Allen Austin recently completed a retained search engagement for Arkos Field Services with the selection of Bill Sayre as the President. Bill will be joining the Burckhardt Compression family. Bill has more than 30 years of professional experience including assignments as Vice President Business Development-Midstream at SNC-Lavalin, CEO at Hicor Technologies, Inc., various VP functions at Exterran including Vice President Mid-South Region which included responsibility for a significant aftermarket services business, and Vice President of Operations at IMW Atlas industries. He attended the University of Wisconsin Whitewater studying Public Relations and Industrial Safety.

Mike Rome Joins Allen Austin as Senior Partner

Mike talks about Bridgeway as the most amazing thing he has ever been a part of as Bridgeway became the largest corporate philanthropist in the state of Texas at one point, giving 50% of net profit to strategic charities. In his career, Mike was EVP Institutional Marketing at AIM/Invesco, SVP of Capital Markets at Merrill Lynch, EVP of Capital Markets for Kidder Peabody and EVP and Manager of Institutional Sales for Oppenheimer. He is a Partner in a small private-equity firm, Memorial Capital Partners.

Mike graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree and was a two-sport letterman in Football and Baseball. He furthered his studies in Portfolio Management at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, and in Behavioral Finance at Harvard University. Allen Austin recently completed a retained search engagement for the CTCI-Americas (CTCIA) with the selection of Don Chaney as the Director Business Development. Don is joining CTCIA having developed and led business over 35 years in the refining, chemical, petrochemical, gas processing, and renewable energy markets winning both licensed process technology and open art process Studies, FEED’s, and EPC project phases. Don joins CTCIA after leadership roles at PCL Industrial Construction, KP Engineering, CB&I, and Foster Wheeler.

CTCI-Americas is a relatively new entrant into the North American Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) marketplace.
