Allen Austin enters Hunt Scanlon’s “Top 25” with Global Expansion to Boston

Allen Austin, a leading global management consulting firm specializing in retained search and leadership advisory consulting, announced today that it has opened an office in Boston. The firm has added six new partners to its team in 2016, as a part of its global strategy to provide deep industry and functional expertise, as well as broader geographic coverage in order to better serve global clients. The firm climbed to #25 from #31 on Hunt Scanlon’s List of Retained Search and Leadership Consulting Firms, released in April.

Paul Moran will serve as the Leader of Allen Austin’s Global Technology practice located in the firm’s Boston office, and will work with Rod Keller as Technology Co-Leader in our Austin office, to build out our global footprint. Most recently, Paul founded and led his own successful boutique retained search and leadership advisory firm, CapFuze. Prior to CapFuze, Paul spent twenty years with leading retained search firms and has completed hundreds of executive level projects up to and including board assignments.

Paul has over 25 years of experience in executive search and leadership solutions servicing clients on a variety of projects across functions including board selection, general management, professional services, sales, marketing, finance, and engineering. In addition, He has extensive experience in the use of analytics in search, the design of “employer marketing” solutions and the use of advanced assessment for individual and team performance as well as in M&A support.  Paul was recently recognized by the world’s fastest growing IT and staffing firm for “Innovation and Thought Leadership” for the use of technology in executive search.

Paul has also served in senior partner and practice leadership roles for other top-tier international search firms including Korn/Ferry International and Heidrick & Struggles and has completed hundreds of executive level projects in his career. He was also the Vice President of Management Recruitment for what was the second largest venture capital firm in the world where he led a team responsible for executive recruitment services for the firm’s portfolio companies.  Earlier in his career, Paul was Director, Business Development for Arthur Andersen, LLC.

Paul was awarded a BS in marketing from Marist College. He serves on a variety of boards for not-for-profit organizations.
